Assignment #3: Practical Assignment
Due Date: Sunday, March 24 th , 2019
Value – 20% of your mark
This assignment is an individual assessment of key course concepts. The assignment provides students with the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding and application of topics discussed and learned in-class, through course materials and peer discussions.
Students are to answer four (4) of the six (6) questions below. Randomly, two (2) of the four (4) answered questions will be graded out of 10 marks each, for a total of 20 marks for the assignment. If there are not 4 different questions answered – I WILL NOT MARK THE ASSIGNMENT.
The Assignment should be submitted as a Word document (.docx) file, maximum of 8 pages (2 pages per questions), 1.5-spaced, not including Title page and References.
The assignment must be organized with appropriate headings or question numbers.
Be sure to provide sufficient detail and clear responses to the questions asked.
Proper citing and referencing is required. You must reference any information, data, and images not your own in accordance with the APA@Conestoga style format.
Please submit your document as one file to the appropriate dropbox on eConestoga.
You must answer FOUR the open-ended questions in full sentence and paragraph format. Do not use bullet points.
At 1.5 spacing, each question should be no more than 2 pages in length – with an Assignment total page length of 8.
Integrate the course readings (textbooks and articles) in to your answers.
You must reference any information, data, and images not your own in accordance with the APA@Conestoga style format (see https://apa.conestogac.on.ca/ ). A minimum of 2 different in-text citations are required for each question . That means, you should have a minimum of 4 references listed on your “References” page at the end of the document. These references can be course textbooks and articles discussed in class.
Correct spelling, grammar and sentence structure is required when you are answering the questions.
Detailed, organized, well explained and supported answers are expected for each question.
You must answer all questions in one file and upload your file to the appropriate assignment folder in eConestoga. Save your file with your first and last name in the file name itself.
Students must submit their assignment to the appropriate Dropbox folder on eConestoga before midnight on Sunday, March 24 th . Late assignments will not be accepted.
Assignment Questions and Marks (20 marks total, 20%)
Two of your four answered questions will be graded out of 10 marks , for a total of 20 and will be evaluated using the following criteria:
Fully answers the questions with the integration of course materials
Provides coherent delivery of an argument/idea/reflection that displays critical thought, evidence, and the development of personal viewpoints
Well written, organized, and free of spelling and grammar mistakes
Appropriate APA@Conestoga formatting used for a minimum of 2 different in-text citations
Choose four (4) of the six (6) questions below to answer using course material, textbook, readings and external sources with proper APA format. Randomly, two (2) questions will be graded using the scheme above. Clearly indicate which question you are answering.

How do the principles and best practices of Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) relate to the strategy, governance and operation of a sustainable and socially responsible business?
Question 2. (10 marks)
What is the role of the corporate leader in creating and maintaining a sustainable and socially responsible business?
Question 3. (10 marks)
What corporate governance tools and processes should a sustainable and socially responsible business use to move the organization toward greater sustainability embedment?
Question 4. (10 marks)
How important is stakeholder engagement to a developing or already established sustainable and socially responsible business?
Question 5. (10 marks)
What strategies and business model canvas would you recommend an organization should use to communicate, share and promote its own messages of sustainability to stakeholders?
Question 6. (10 marks)
What differences are there in the development and writing of a traditional business plan versus a sustainable business plan?
